On the night of July 5, Russian occupation forces carried out a massive air attack on Ukrainian territory, using guided air-to-ground missiles and more than a hundred attack drones of various types.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of Ukrainian defenders, 115 enemy targets were destroyed or neutralized, which helped minimize the consequences of yet another terrorist attack.
The attack began after 6:00 p.m. the previous day, when the enemy launched an X-31 anti-radar missile from the Black Sea and three X-59/69 guided air-to-ground missiles from the airspace of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region.
At the same time, the enemy launched 125 attack drones of the “Shahed,” “Gerbera,” and “Italmas” types, as well as “Parodia” decoy drones.
The launches were carried out from various strategic directions: the Bryansk and Oryol regions, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast and Crimea.
The attack was repelled by the Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
