The fighting for Kostiantynivka is entering its final phase
The situation on the Kostiantynivka front in Donetsk Oblast is rapidly deteriorating, and the fighting for the city is entering its final phase.
According to a soldier with the call sign “Muchnoi,” an exhausting struggle is underway in the urban area, where individual neighborhoods and buildings can change hands several times a day, and the main objective has become driving out the enemy rather than holding a continuous line of defense.
The main challenges stem from the critical state of logistics, a high concentration of enemy FPV drones, and active electronic warfare operations, which complicate evacuation, maneuvering, and the use of drones. Currently, the main intensity of the fighting is gradually shifting from the Novoselivka neighborhood toward Osykove and the outskirts of Oleksievo-Druzhkivka, where Russian troops are attempting to increase the pressure.

A BILD analyst speculated that Russia could capture Kostiantynivka by the end of 2026.
As a reminder, Russian troops attacked 54 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, carrying out 979 strikes. Three people were killed as a result of the enemy shelling, and another 24 residents were wounded.
