Ukrainian Air Defence Forces shot down 126 enemy UAVs during a night attack
On the night of 19 January (from 06:00 p.m. on 18 January), the enemy launched an attack using 145 strike UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types, as well as drones of other types, from the following directions: Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), Chauda (temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea), and Donetsk (temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine). Around 90 of them were Shaheds.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The aerial attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:30 a.m., air defence shot down or suppressed 126 enemy UAVs of the Shahed and Gerbera types and other drones.
Impacts by 13 strike UAVs were recorded at 12 locations, and debris from downed UAVs fell at five locations.
