Air defense forces successfully repelled over 150 enemy drones
On the night of 5 February, Russia carried out a massive attack on several regions of Ukraine, including Kyiv, using Iskander-M ballistic missiles and drone strikes.
According to the Air Force, Ukraine’s air defense forces demonstrated high effectiveness, destroying most of the enemy’s targets.
During the attack, the enemy launched 183 drones, approximately 110 of which were Shahed-type. The air defense forces shot down 156 of them, while ballistic missiles struck several locations in the capital.

As a result of the attack, buildings were damaged in several Kyiv districts, and there are reports of injuries.
By the morning of 5 February, damage had been recorded in multiple areas of Kyiv, and two people were injured, one of whom was hospitalized.
This incident underscores the ongoing threat from Russian forces and highlights the critical importance of maintaining Ukraine’s air defense systems to protect its territory.
