Air defense forces shot down 114 enemy drones during a nighttime attack

On the night of April 6, Russian occupation forces launched a large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory, deploying 141 attack drones of various types.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of air defense units, 114 enemy targets were destroyed or neutralized in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.

The enemy began launching UAVs as early as 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, utilizing a wide range of launch sites.

Attacks were carried out from the Russian cities of Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea—Cape Chauda and the Gvardeyskoye airfield.

Among the weapons used, the Ukrainian Air Force identified “Shahed,” “Gerbera,” and “Italmas” drones, as well as other types of unmanned aerial vehicles.

In particular, experts noted that approximately 80 of the total number were “Shahed” kamikaze drones.

As of 8:00 a.m., the successful neutralization of most of the enemy equipment has been confirmed.

Despite the effectiveness of the air defense forces, 26 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 17 different locations. Additionally, debris from downed drones was documented at 13 locations across Ukraine, causing some damage at those sites.

As a reminder, Russian drones once again attacked Naftogaz facilities in the Poltava region.

Russian troops also attacked the Chernihiv region with FPV drones.
