Ukrainian Forces Strike Shahed Drone Launch Site at Donetsk Airport with ATACMS Missiles (Video)
On March 7, 2026, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a strike on a Shahed drone launch site at Donetsk Airport using ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles.
OSINT analysts from the CyberBoroshno group released drone footage showing the scale of the operation.
“During the strike, ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles were used. The new footage confirms the attack occurred while the enemy was preparing the next strike. A large number of drones were present at the site. Reconnaissance was conducted by a Buntar-3 drone,” the analysts noted.
The operation was followed on March 8 by the destruction of an enemy ammunition depot at the Tochmash plant near Donetsk Airport.

“According to information circulating in local chats, there is a risk of scattered munitions and secondary detonations. Judging by the evidence, the strike was likely carried out using missile systems,” the OSINT team added.
On March 7, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that ATACMS and SCALP missiles struck Russian Shahed drone storage, preparation, and launch sites near Donetsk Airport. The attack was conducted by the Ukrainian Rocket Forces and Artillery units together with Air Force aviation.
The strike caused a large fire and secondary explosions.
It should be recalled that Ukrainian intelligence previously halted a Russian offensive near Zaporizhzhia.
The General Staff has also confirmed precision strikes on Russian forces near Donetsk Airport.
In the past 24 hours, Russian forces reportedly lost 790 personnel and six air defense systems.
Ukrainian forces also struck an enemy space communications center and air defense assets.
Additionally, powerful explosions were reported at Belbek Airfield in Crimea, while drones targeted the Ilsky Oil Refinery and Sevastopol.
