Special Operations Forces eliminate group of Russian soldiers in the Zaporizhzhia direction
Operators of the 73rd Naval Special Operations Center of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a group of Russian occupiers who attempted to detonate grenades during interrogation.
According to the Special Operations Forces, the incident occurred in the Zaporizhzhia region direction during the clearing of buildings where the invaders had set up a warehouse and a workshop for assembling drones. Despite being offered the chance to surrender, two Russian militants concealed the presence of explosives and attempted to attack Ukrainian soldiers, but were instantly eliminated by return fire.
In addition to the two occupiers killed during the direct contact, the bodies of three more Russian soldiers were found in the building. They had died earlier as a result of previous strikes on this hideout.
After the operation was completed, Ukrainian special forces seized important documents and communication equipment from the eliminated enemy. These materials will help in further planning of actions in this section of the front.
This incident once again confirms the high level of training of the operators of the 73rd Naval Special Operations Center, who were able to instantly assess the threat and preserve the lives of personnel in a critical situation.
Meanwhile, Russia is pulling reserves toward Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, preparing for a new offensive.
In addition, Russian forces are attempting to fully seize Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. Ukrainian units are holding positions on the northern outskirts of these settlements.
From several years to indefinitely: how much longer the war in Ukraine could last.
