Tusk highlighted an important point in the standoff with Russia
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that the next 100 days could be decisive for the future course of the Russian-Ukrainian war. According to him, this period could influence the outcome of the conflict, so allies must step up their support for Ukraine.
Tusk emphasized the need to maintain unity among Kyiv’s partners and to continue providing assistance in the fight against Russian aggression. He called on international allies not to let up in their efforts at this decisive moment in the war.
The Polish prime minister shared his forecast following a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. As is known, the meeting took place on July 29 in Poland.
“The situation is quite clear: the next 100 days could determine the outcome of this war, and right now the odds are 50-50,” Tusk emphasized.
In his view, U.S. President Donald Trump, “certain other individuals,” and American billionaire Elon Musk could influence the war’s outcome.
Tusk also stated that today’s incident involving a Russian missile has only strengthened his resolve to continue supporting Ukraine.
“Poland’s security depends directly and unequivocally on the effective actions of the Ukrainian military, particularly in the air. If the Ukrainians had significantly more of what they have long been asking for, perhaps this ballistic missile would not have been launched toward Poland,” Tusk said.
He also publicly promised that Warsaw would do everything possible to ensure that Ukraine does not lose this war.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk made this statement, according to The Guardian.
