A new scandal has erupted in the 14th Mechanized Brigade, where soldiers were left without food
Relatives of servicemembers from the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade (OMBr) have once again publicly complained on social media about the dire conditions their loved ones face while on duty.
According to their families, Ukrainian defenders have been stationed on the front lines without adequate supplies or rest for nearly nine months.
The unit’s command officially responded to the appeals but did not specify a timeline for personnel rotations, citing security concerns.
In numerous posts addressed to the brigade’s leadership, the soldiers’ relatives note that the troops were deployed to their positions as early as October 5, 2025.
At that time, the command promised to carry out a scheduled rotation within two months, but the soldiers remain on the front lines to this day.
In addition to the lack of rest, the soldiers report serious supply issues, resulting in food being delivered to their positions extremely irregularly.
Their loved ones emphasize that due to their prolonged stay in the trenches under constant shelling, the soldiers are physically exhausted and are enduring extremely harsh conditions.
In their appeals, they demand an immediate rotation of troops, as well as the provision of necessary medical care to the soldiers.
In response to the public outcry, representatives of the 14th Mechanized Brigade issued an official statement assuring that they are aware of the existing problems.
