An explosion was reported in Chernihiv amid the threat of an enemy drone strike. The day before, Russian troops attacked infrastructure facilities in the Chernihiv region, including gas stations, water supply systems, power facilities, and industrial enterprises.
“An explosion was heard in the city. Prior to that, a Shahed drone was detected approaching the city. Details are being confirmed,” Bryzhynskyi wrote.
According to Vyacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, the enemy attacked gas stations in Kholmy and Koryukivka in the Chernihiv region throughout the day yesterday. They used “Molniya” and “Gerbera” missiles for the strikes. Also during the day in Koryukivka, there was a strike on a water supply facility. Late in the evening, a “Gerbera” missile struck a woodworking enterprise. A fire broke out at the impact site, which was extinguished by emergency responders. A “Molniya” missile struck a farm in the village of Novhorod, part of the Siverska community. Storage facilities and a combine harvester were damaged. An energy facility was also struck.
