Dnipro declares day of mourning for victims of Russian missile strike
On 2 December 2025, a day of mourning was declared in Dnipro following a Russian missile strike that killed four people and injured dozens more.
The announcement was made by the mayor of Dnipro, Boris Filatov, on Telegram. “Tomorrow has been declared a day of mourning for those killed in the Russian attack in Dnipro,” he said.
As a reminder, on the morning of 1 December 2025, Russian forces attacked Dnipro with a ballistic missile. The explosion struck a densely populated area, damaging residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Several buildings were partially destroyed, windows shattered, and roofs damaged in multiple homes.
