In the Kharkiv region, a Russian drone struck an electric train, killing one person and injuring others.
This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram.
According to the investigation, at around 5:20 a.m. on 24 March, a direct hit was recorded on an electric train operating on the Slatyne–Kharkiv route. At the time of the strike, the train was at Slatyne station.
Preliminary findings indicate that Russian forces used an FPV drone, which hit one of the carriages.
As a result of the attack, a 61-year-old passenger was killed. The train driver and assistant driver suffered acute stress reactions.
Emergency services are working at the scene. Under the procedural supervision of the Derhachi District Prosecutor’s Office of the Kharkiv region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched. The case has been classified as a war crime resulting in death (Part 2, Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Russian forces also carried out more than 20 attacks on the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. Civilian infrastructure was damaged and an elderly woman was injured.
Russian troops launched another combined attack on Ukraine, using strike drones and cruise missiles. Air raid alerts were declared in most regions of the country.
