In Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck a Nova Poshta depot, and packages were destroyed by fire
On the night of June 8, during the shelling of Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck the roof of Nova Poshta Depot No. 5. The strike caused a fire, partial structural collapse, and the destruction of some of the shipments.
No employees were injured, as the depot was not operating at the time of the attack, according to the report.
Rescue workers from the State Emergency Service and other emergency services are on the scene; access to the warehouse is limited due to the damaged roof, smoke, and the risk of further collapse.
According to preliminary data from the company, there were 363 shipments with a total value of approximately 1 million hryvnias in the building at the time of the strike. Their condition is still being assessed.
"Nova Poshta" stated that it will compensate customers for the declared value of the damaged shipments and will provide details on the reimbursement.
