In Kherson, a Russian drone attacked a civilian energy utility worker while he was performing emergency repair work, and the strike proved fatal for the man, who was on the street at the time of the attack and working to restore damaged infrastructure.

The victim was a 39-year-old employee of one of the regional utility companies, who worked as part of the energy service and was involved in repairing damage in the city.

The prosecutor’s office and the Regional State Administration note that the attack once again highlights the danger faced by civilian specialists who continue to work in frontline cities, restoring critical infrastructure under the constant threat of strikes.
