On June 16 in Kherson, two police officers were injured when Russian forces struck a shuttle bus for a second time. The officers were injured while responding to the attack.
It is reported that in the morning, a bus driver and two passengers were injured in a drone explosion; another man was killed, and his identity is being determined.
“Police officers immediately arrived at the scene of the strike. At that moment, the enemy repeated the attack. As a result of the explosion, two law enforcement officers were injured; their lives are not in danger,” the statement said.
The police added that the occupiers continued to carry out insidious drone strikes on the site of previous attacks. Several blocks away, three employees of a municipal utility company were injured in the explosion. The men, aged 29, 39, and 55, suffered blast injuries, shrapnel wounds, and concussions. Police officers transported them to the hospital.
Law enforcement officials are taking measures to properly document yet another instance of drone terror by the aggressor country’s forces.
