One ministry building damaged in Kyiv due to massive Russian attack

On December 27, in Kyiv, the building of one of the ministries was damaged as a result of a Russian attack.
This was reported by Prime Minister Olha Sviridenko on Telegram.

“As a result of the shelling (of Kyiv – ed.), residential buildings, energy facilities, and the building of one of the ministries were damaged,” Sviridenko wrote.

Rescuers are working on site, clearing debris, along with medical teams and all emergency services.

Due to the combined drone and missile strike, Kyiv is experiencing disruptions in water and heat supply. Critical city facilities have been switched to backup power. Municipal services are working intensively to restore operations where the security situation allows.

In Kyiv and Kyiv region, energy specialists are restoring electricity for a total of about 600,000 consumers.

“Russia is deliberately striking energy infrastructure and residential buildings during the holiday weekend. We must not give them a chance to sow despair and fear,” emphasized Sviridenko. She thanked the services and energy workers for their prompt response.

As a result of the Russian strike on December 27, one person was killed in Kyiv, and more than 20 were injured.

On December 27, Kyiv experienced another massive Russian strike. Since nighttime, the enemy has used nearly 500 drones, a significant number of Shahed drones, and 40 missiles, including Kinzhal missiles. The main targets are the capital’s energy and civilian infrastructure.

The Russian terrorist attack on Kyiv lasted almost the entire night. Damage was recorded at multiple locations across seven districts of the capital.
