A man was killed in Kyiv after a Russian drone struck

On the night of September 27, a Russian drone struck a non-residential building in the Solomyanskyi District of Kyiv. A fire broke out after the strike, and while putting it out, rescue workers discovered a man’s body. At another location, a drone caused a fire in a car repair shop.

 

On the night of September 27, Kyiv came under attack by Russian drones. In the Solomyanskyi district, one of the drones struck a non-residential building. A fire broke out there following the strike. Rescue workers arrived at the scene and began extinguishing the fire. While working, they discovered the body of a man inside the building.

Another fire broke out at a different address in the district. There, a single-story auto repair shop caught fire after being struck by a Russian drone. The fire could have spread to a nearby restaurant. However, firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading.

The fire was extinguished around 3 a.m. Thus, as a result of the nighttime attack in the Solomyanskyi district, one man was killed, and civilian facilities were damaged. Rescue workers continued to work at the sites of the strikes and deal with the aftermath of the attack. The State Emergency Service reported this on Facebook.

On September 26, Russian troops killed three residents of the Donetsk region, and five more people were wounded. Two of the fatalities were in Kramatorsk, and one was in Shabelkivka. 

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops again attacked the Kherson region with aircraft, drones, and artillery. Critical and social infrastructure facilities, a high-rise building, and nine private homes were hit. One person was wounded as a result of the Russian shelling.
