In Kramatorsk, bomb disposal experts destroyed an unexploded Russian aerial bomb

In Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast, State Emergency Service bomb disposal experts recovered and destroyed an unexploded Russian aerial bomb. The munition was discovered following yet another airstrike on the city.

The explosive device was lodged in the ground near a nine-story residential building. The aerial bomb did not detonate, but it remained a serious threat to people.

State Emergency Service specialists carefully removed the munition and transported it to a special demolition site, where they destroyed it in accordance with the necessary safety measures.

Rescuers remind the public that if a suspicious or explosive object is found, do not approach it or attempt to move it on your own. You should move to a safe distance and call the Emergency Service at 101.

On September 8, during a Russian attack on Kyiv, a Russian drone struck the building housing the “We Are Ukraine” TV channel. The strike partially destroyed the building, and five employees of the TV channel were injured.

On September 8, Russian troops launched an attack with two “Shahed” drones on the Kyiv–Sumy train. The train had been stopped in advance, and passengers and crew members were evacuated following a warning from the “Ukrzaliznytsia” monitoring team.

As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region as a result of the Russian Federation’s attack.
