The Kremlin has no plans for a mobilization, but Nebenzia made a cryptic statement

Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, stated that the Kremlin currently has no plans to announce a mobilization after the fall elections. At the same time, he called for waiting until the end of the electoral process, hinting that the situation could change.

“Don’t worry about mobilization in Russia. It has been officially stated many times that we do not currently need a mass mobilization, and as far as I know, it is neither planned nor expected,” he said.

At the same time, Nebenzia added: “But let’s see what happens after the elections—and who is right and who is wrong.”

This was reported by Russian propaganda media.

Over the course of August 20, Russian troops carried out 1,069 strikes on 51 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Four people were wounded as a result of the enemy attacks.

On the evening of August 20 and overnight on August 21, Russian forces attacked the Nikopol, Synelnykiv, and Pavlohrad districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region with drones. Local authorities reported on the consequences of the strikes.

On the night of August 21, Russian troops attacked the village of Lebyazhe in the Chuhuiv district with six strike drones. Two women were killed in the attack, two others were wounded, and private homes were damaged or destroyed.
