Kremlin says no statements expected after first day of Geneva talks

Putin’s spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that following the first day of trilateral talks between Ukraine, the US, and Russia in Geneva, no statements should be expected, as work will continue on 18 February.

“I don’t think any news should be expected today, because, as you know, the work is planned to continue tomorrow,” Peskov said.

He also noted that the talks are being held behind closed doors. Source: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.

As a reminder, former President Trump issued a warning to the Ukrainian delegation.

The US delegation will also hold talks in Geneva on the same day regarding both Ukraine and Iran.
