Explosions and fire in Lutsk during drone attack
Explosions were heard in Lutsk during a morning attack by Russian drones, which approached the region from multiple directions, according to Lutsk Mayor Ihor Polishchuk on Telegram.
At 6:19 a.m., the Air Force warned of incoming attack drones from the Rivne region. Shortly after, the mayor reported that three Russian drones were heading toward the city from different directions.
The first explosions were heard around 7:20 a.m., while air defense systems were active. Minutes later, repeated explosions were recorded in the city.
After the strikes, heavy smoke was seen in one neighborhood. According to the mayor, food warehouses caught fire as a result of the attack.
During the combined attack, explosions were also heard in Kyiv. Local authorities reported air defense activity, and the Air Force confirmed Kinzhal and ballistic missiles flying toward the capital.
There were confirmed strikes in Fastiv. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, railway infrastructure was damaged, and passenger train routes that were supposed to pass through Fastiv are being urgently changed.
As a result of the massive drone and missile attack on Kyiv Oblast, three people were injured.
