In the Moscow region, 16 people were injured as a result of Russian air defense actions
In five cities in the Moscow Region, 16 people sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of falling debris and the chaotic response of Russian air defenses during a drone attack.
Among those injured by their own military’s actions were two young children.
The highest number of injuries from falling debris was recorded in the town of Kotelniki, where eight civilians were injured at once.
Russian air defenses shot down aerial targets directly over the city’s densely populated residential areas.
As a result, a three-year-old child had to be urgently hospitalized at the Center for Maternal and Child Health, and five adults were taken to the Lyuberetsk Hospital.
Among them were men with severe shrapnel wounds, as well as a 58-year-old woman with a traumatic brain injury and a deep shoulder wound.
In the city of Ramenskoye, three local residents were injured as a result of a similar incident involving falling rocket debris and drones. A 10-year-old girl, who sustained serious injuries to both shins, is currently under medical supervision.
Another victim, a 35-year-old man, was hospitalized at the Zhukovskaya Hospital with multiple shrapnel wounds to his body caused by the blast wave from the downed target.
