Russia has called for the public and the economy to be prepared for a protracted war
The Russian Federation will remain in a state of war and global conflict for at least several years, or even decades.
This statement was made during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Andrei Bezrukov, an advisor to the chairman of Rosneft and a retired colonel of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.
The representative of the Russian elite emphasized the need to completely restructure the country’s way of life in preparation for a prolonged confrontation.
“We must acknowledge that for the next few years, and possibly even a couple of decades, we will be at war. It could be a very intense war, like the one we are in now, or a creeping war, even if it shifts to other regions. We will have two generations that will effectively live under wartime conditions,” Bezrukov stated.
According to the Russian intelligence officer, current events are merely the initial stage of a global military conflict on a planetary scale.
“What happened in Iran proves that the hegemon is no longer a hegemon. But there will be another clash. Likely in Asia,” predicts the advisor to the head of Rosneft.

Russia has significantly increased the volume of its defense orders for “Shahed”-type drones. According to the Main Intelligence Directorate, orders for various modifications of such drones this year exceed 100,000 units.
