Russian propaganda continues to issue threats against NATO countries and promote scenarios for further escalation of the war.
This time, Sergei Karnaukhov, a propagandist close to Vladimir Solovyov’s media group, made aggressive statements.
During a broadcast on Russian television, he proposed launching an “Oreshnik” ballistic missile strike on Rzeszów, Poland. This city is one of the main logistics hubs through which international partners deliver aid to Ukraine.
Karnaukhov cynically claimed that such a strike would supposedly demonstrate the North Atlantic Alliance’s reaction, expressing his conviction that NATO would not respond with direct military action.
In addition, the propagandist threatened Romania, which he named as a possible next location for Alliance facilities. During his remarks, he also resorted to offensive and xenophobic attacks against the Romanian people.
Karnaukhov’s latest statements once again demonstrate that Russian propaganda is increasingly openly calling for aggressive actions against NATO member states and spreading rhetoric of international confrontation.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin, following U.S. President Donald Trump, arrived in China for a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
During his visit to China, Vladimir Putin had hoped to secure Beijing’s approval for the construction of a new large-scale gas pipeline, but the negotiations ended without a result.
