An explosion occurred at the Shipyard Quarter construction site in St. Petersburg; there are casualties

An explosion occurred at 14 Dobrolyubov Avenue, where construction of the Judicial Quarter is underway, resulting in one fatality. 

This was reported by the local publication "Fontanka." In addition to the one fatality, two other people sustained injuries of varying severity.

Employees of the Investigative Committee and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations are currently working at the scene of the incident. The exact cause of the incident at the construction site remains unknown. 

The Judicial Quarter complex, where the explosion occurred, includes the future Supreme Court building, residential buildings for the judiciary, and the Palace of Dance.

Meanwhile, a drone struck a building on Mosfilmovskaya Street in Moscow. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed the attack and reported that there were no casualties. At the same time, drones were also spotted over Samara.
