A woman was arrested in Sevastopol for blowing up a Russian military vehicle

On August 14, in the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol, a court ordered the arrest of a woman suspected of involvement in an explosion. A servicemember of the Russian Ministry of Defense was killed in the incident.

 

According to the court, the Russian citizen, born in 1994, was remanded in custody for two months. The suspect is charged under the article on “terrorist acts.”

According to the Russian FSB, the woman “carried out the bombing of a serviceman on orders from Ukrainian special services.” These claims by the Russian side have not yet been independently confirmed.

As a reminder, Shlosberg, a member of the Yabloko party, faces up to 12 years in prison.

Yabloko could have won up to 20% of the vote in the State Duma elections.

Earlier, a court in Moscow banned the Yabloko party from participating in the parliamentary elections.
