In Ternopil, a Russian rocket killed a pharmacist and her two children
In Ternopil, a Russian rocket strike on 19 November killed pharmacist Maria Palagnyuk and her children—her five-year-old daughter Kamila and her one-and-a-half-year-old son Nazar.
Maria worked at 9A Kyivska Street and was known for always helping her patients with care and dedication. The ANTS pharmacy chain confirmed the information.
“Maria was a bright, kind, and incredibly responsive person. She always greeted people warmly, with a sincere smile. She was recognized as an attentive professional who helped patients every day with great love for her work,” her colleagues wrote.
Earlier, the State Emergency Service published a photo of Maria’s husband standing with a psychologist near the destroyed high-rise. For three days, he waited anxiously for news about his wife and children, who were inside the building at the time of the strike.

The bodies of the victims were recovered on 21 November.
During the same night of Russian shelling in Ternopil, 25 people—including three children—were killed, and 73 residents, including 15 children, were injured.
