Zaporizhzhia has updated its alerts regarding the threat of UAVs

In Zaporizhzhia, the warning system for guided aerial bombs has been updated again. Now, alerts will be sent to residents’ cell phones, even if the danger affects only certain areas of the Zaporizhzhia region.

 

This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration.

“We received a large number of requests from community residents; they also want to receive alerts about the threat of guided aerial bombs, so a decision was made to expand the alert zone. At this time, it is not yet technically possible to differentiate the audible alerts so that Zaporizhzhia would hear a signal only for threats to the city, and the surrounding areas would hear one specific to their region,” the Regional State Administration stated.

It was also clarified that the audible alert is currently accompanied by explanatory text messages.
