Strikes on logistics are forcing Russia to limit its use of ammunition

Strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on logistics routes and ammunition depots are forcing Russian troops to impose limits on the use of artillery shells. This was reported on television by Vladislav Voloshin, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, noting that supply issues are affecting the intensity of the enemy’s use of weapons.

“We are trying to strike their logistics routes and ammunition depots, and this has led to the command of some Russian units, particularly the 36th Army, imposing limits on the use of artillery ammunition. Whereas previously the enemy would concentrate fire on a specific section of the front and continue until the entire position was destroyed, such instances have now decreased,” he said.

According to Voloshin, due to a shortage of artillery ammunition, the enemy is reducing the use of weapons located closer to the line of contact. At the same time, however, the enemy is replacing artillery with airstrikes, using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and missile strikes against Ukrainian military positions, as well as cities and villages, reports Ukrinform.

Recently, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine certified and approved for use in the Armed Forces of Ukraine three fiber-optic FPV systems manufactured by enterprises of JSC “Ukrainian Defense Industry.”

Prior to this, the Ministry of Defense had certified and authorized the domestic unmanned aerial system “Volynaka” for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved the Shablya MK19(M) remotely controlled combat module for use by the troops. It is equipped with an MK19 40mm automatic grenade launcher.
