Ukraine announced that it had struck 19 Russian tankers carrying fuel for Crimea
Over the past three days, Ukrainian drones have reportedly struck 19 tankers belonging to Russia’s “shadow fleet” in the Sea of Azov that were transporting fuel to occupied Crimea.
According to him, nine vessels were destroyed on the night of July 8 alone. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported the destruction of six tankers from Russia’s “shadow fleet,” one of which was in the Black Sea and five in the Sea of Azov. According to military officials, these vessels were being used to supply Russian units in southern Ukraine.
This was stated by Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, who releaseda video showing footage of the attacks.
As a reminder, drones attacked one of Russia’s most modern oil refineries in Nizhnekamsk.
In addition, Russian forces struck Odesa—there are casualties, and infrastructure has been damaged.
The strike on Odesa was carried out with a missile equipped with a cluster warhead.
