Ukrainian drones attacked a strategic chemical plant in the Voronezh region
On the evening of April 6, Ukrainian drones carried out a successful attack on the facilities of the joint-stock company "Minudobreniya," located in the city of Rossosh in the Voronezh region.
This company is one of the region’s largest chemical giants and plays a critical role in supplying raw materials to the Russian military-industrial complex.
According to local residents and OSINT analysts, a massive fire broke out on the factory grounds as a result of the strike.
The fire engulfed the roof of the finished goods warehouse.
Regional Governor Alexander Gusev confirmed the attack by six drones but, as usual, claimed they were shot down by air defense forces.
According to him, the fire broke out solely due to falling debris that damaged a production facility. One man was injured in the incident—he was hospitalized with moderate burns.
The Minudobreniya plant is of strategic importance, as it specializes in the production of ammonia and ammonium nitrate.
In addition to agricultural use, these components serve as basic raw materials for the production of explosives.
The plant’s capacity allows it to produce over 550,000 tons of ammonium nitrate and up to 1.2 million tons of nitroammophoska annually.
The plant is managed by the company “Roskhim,” and was previously linked to a close associate of Vladimir Putin—oligarch Arkady Rotenberg, who is subject to strict international sanctions.
Soldiers of the 14th Brigade evacuated a cat and a dog from the front lines using a drone.
Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers are expanding the logistics corridor to Myrnohrad, according to the Airborne Forces.
Ukrainian defense forces continue to successfully repel Russian troops’ attempts to advance in the Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad areas.
