Ukrainian forces hold back Russian troops near Hrabovske in Sumy region

Russian forces continue to control the settlement of Hrabovske in Sumy Region; however, their attempts to expand the combat zone have proven unsuccessful.

This was reported by Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, during a broadcast of the national telethon United News.

According to him, Ukraine’s defence forces are actively working to reduce enemy numbers and prevent any further advance deeper into the region.

The combat area involves not only drone operators but also infantry units, which are directly engaged in small-arms clashes with Russian occupiers.

Demchenko noted that the enemy had previously attempted similar actions, particularly in the direction of the settlement of Varachyne, where Russian troops assaulted positions held by border guard units.

Similar attacks, he said, were also recorded recently towards the village of Myropillia.

Despite the enemy’s activity, the situation in Sumy Region remains under the control of Ukrainian defenders. Thanks to coordinated military efforts, enemy units have been unable to expand their positions beyond the territories they already occupy.

Ukrainian forces continue to carry out precision strikes against concentrations of Russian equipment and manpower, effectively containing the enemy’s offensive plans.

It should be recalled that the occupiers lost more than a thousand soldiers in a single day.

Additionally, near Myrnohrad, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated occupiers who had been hiding on a farm.
