In Kherson, doctors are fighting to save the life of a child who was injured during a shelling of a playground
A three-year-old girl who sustained serious injuries as a result of shelling at a playground in the Korabelny district of Kherson is in serious but stable condition. Following surgery, the child is being prepared for evacuation to the Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv.
“Medical personnel in Kherson evacuated the girl to Mykolaiv, where she underwent surgery; currently, the child is in serious but stable condition and is now being evacuated to Okhmatdyt,” wrote Oleksandr Prokudin.
According to the official, specialists at the Kyiv hospital will determine the further course of treatment for the young patient. Currently, the girl has everything she needs and is under the constant supervision of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, the child’s mother remains in critical condition, and doctors continue to fight for her life.
It is also reported that the victim’s six-year-old older sister is undergoing outpatient treatment for her injuries.
As a reminder, the children and their mother were injured as a result of a rocket attack on a playground in the Korabelny district of Kherson.
