Video: The 66th Brigade repelled a massive Russian assault in the Lyman area
Soldiers of the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Mstislav the Brave, together with other units, repelled a massive assault by Russian forces in the Lyman area.
This was reported by the Joint Forces Operation.
According to military sources, the enemy attempted to break through the defenses, taking advantage of deteriorating weather conditions, using over 50 motorcycles and ATVs, armored vehicles, and a significant number of infantry.
Ukrainian defenders, in coordination with units of the 3rd Army Corps and the 20th K-2 Unmanned Systems Brigade, destroyed 43 invaders, six armored vehicles (BMP-3s and BTR-82s), as well as 10 ATVs and five motorcycles.
Some of the Russian forces retreated back to the line of contact, while others were eliminated during the battle.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasized that the operation concluded without any losses on the Ukrainian side.
Hundreds of attacks took place on the front lines, with the heaviest fighting in the Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivkasectors.
Additionally, the occupiers shelled the Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 30 times: one person was wounded.
Russia attacked an ambulance brigade in the Kharkiv region with an FPV drone.
