Video: Drones attacked the Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Krai
In Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, drones attacked the Afipsky Oil Refinery. A fire broke out on the refinery grounds following the strikes.
According to Russian OSINT sources, the strike was carried out by jet-powered drones—several of which managed to evade air defense systems. Local residents report that the attack continued, with explosions occurring every 5–7 minutes. In Krasnodar, according to eyewitnesses, the shock wave shattered windows in several buildings. The extent of the damage to the plant is being assessed.
This is not the first attack on the Afip Refinery in 2026. The plant last caught fire on the night of March 13–14, when drones damaged the AT-22/4 primary oil refining unit, which is a key technological hub of the facility. Overall, according to analysts’ estimates, the plant has suffered at least 12 strikes since the start of the full-scale invasion—it ranks among the top three most-attacked refineries in Russia, alongside the Ilsky and Tuapse refineries in the same Krasnodar Krai.
On the night of June 10, drones attacked the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara region of Russia. Following the strikes, a massive fire broke out at the facility, which, according to local residents, was visible from various parts of the city.
