Video: drones attacked the Volgograd region
Last night, Volgograd region and the city of Volzhsky witnessed a massive drone attack. Local air defense forces responded to the threat for several hours, while residents reported numerous explosions after midnight in various districts.

According to Russian military sources, about ten aerial targets were destroyed, and debris from one of the drones caused a fire that burned at least three vehicles.
As a result of the attack, Volgograd International Airport was closed, and its operations were suspended due to fears of further strikes. The governor of Volgograd region, Andrey Bocharov, confirmed the drone attack and also reported explosions caused by falling debris at a military base in the region.
The alarming situation was not limited to Volgograd region — other regions, such as Tambov region, were also affected by similar attacks, highlighting the growing threat posed by drones.
Recently, explosions were also reported in the Russian city of Ukhta (Komi Republic), located about 2,000 km from the Ukrainian border. The Lukoil-Ukhtaneftepererabotka oil refinery came under attack.
It is worth recalling that on the night of February 12, Volgograd region was the site of an attack on a military facility in the settlement of Kotluban.
