A video has surfaced online illustrating the worsening shortage of fuel and lubricants in Russia and the temporarily occupied territories. The footage shows dozens of cars lined up in a massive queue at a gas station, while one of the drivers tries to see where the line begins through binoculars.

From inside his car, the man uses binoculars to survey the long line of vehicles waiting for fuel. Widespread fuel supply problems are the result of systemic and targeted strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces against Russian oil refining infrastructure, oil depots, and enemy logistics routes.

As a reminder, on the morning of August 13, drones attacked the “Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat” oil refining and petrochemical complex in Bashkortostan. Smoke rose over the plant’s territory following the attack.

Prior to this, the Russian oil refinery “Orsknefteorgsintez” had halted oil processing following an attack by Ukrainian drones on August 11.
