Video: Russian drone strikes children’s playground in central Lviv
In Lviv, on Stepan Bandera Street, a Russian drone struck a children’s playground.
According to the city’s mayor, Andriy Sadovyi, the attack caused no fatalities — only a tractor driver clearing snow sustained minor injuries from the blast wave.
Sadovyi emphasised the symbolic nature of the attack location, stating that the aggressor fears such active regions.
Following the attack, Lviv authorities decided to temporarily close several streets to ensure public safety. Mytropolyta Andreya and Sheptytskoho streets were closed to both private and public transport. This also affected trolleybus routes No. 27, No. 32, and No. 38, which were suspended due to the security threat.
