Video: A drone strike on an oil depot in the Kuban region destroyed most of the storage tanks

As a result of a drone strike on an oil depot in Labinsk, Krasnodar Krai, on March 16, the facility’s tank farm was almost completely destroyed.

This was reported by Astra, citing sources in the region’s emergency services.

According to their data, a massive fire covering an area of about 3,000 square meters broke out after the attack by four drones.

As a result, 18 out of 20 tanks were burned, including nine containing gasoline and nine containing diesel fuel, as well as seven fuel tankers. There were no casualties.

Operations at the oil depot have been suspended.

Vladimir Zaburaev, head of the Labinsky District, reported that the fire is ongoing but described the situation as “stable.”

Meanwhile, Rospotrebnadzor stated that there were no elevated levels of harmful substances in the air.

The oil depot belongs to the company "Yugnefteprodukt" and is one of the largest in the region—it supplies fuel to the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, the Rostov Region, and Adygea.

Earlier, about ten powerful explosions rocked the Russian cities of Saratov and Engels.

As a reminder, powerful explosions were heard at the Belbek airfield in Crimea.

Drones also attacked the Ilsky Oil Refinery and Sevastopol.
