Video: Ukrainian LITAVR+ drone has begun shooting down Russian jet-powered kamikaze drones
F-Drones has developed and advanced the upgraded LITAVR+ interceptor drone—capable of shooting down Russian “Shahed” rockets—to the combat testing phase.
The new version retains the form factor of its predecessor but features new motors, electronics, a proprietary GPS-free navigation system, target-tracking capabilities, and remote control technology. The previous version of the LITAVR had a maximum speed of 350 km/h, a flight time of up to 15 minutes, a range of 40 km, and a 500-gram warhead. The upgraded interceptor reaches speeds of over 400 km/h and has already captured footage of a successful strike against an enemy target.
The company’s CEO, Stanislav Khutor, announced this in an interview with LB.ua.
Previously, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense codified and approved the “Nebokray” mobile workshops for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The system is designed for the repair and maintenance of drones.
