Video: A fire broke out at a shopping center in occupied Mariupol
On the night of September 7, drones attacked occupied Mariupol, after which a fire broke out in the city. The fire engulfed the “Galaktika” shopping center, where the Ukrainian “Epicenter” chain had previously operated.
As of this morning, the fire is still burning. No one was injured as a result of the incident.
Footage posted on social media shows flames engulfing the shopping center building and thick smoke. The video captures the hum of the UAVs before the strike and the explosion itself.
It should be noted that after the occupation of the Donetsk region in 2014, the “Epicenter” hypermarket chain “Epicenter” hypermarket chain was seized by the Russians, who continued to operate it under the new name “Galaktika”—both in Donetsk itself and in other cities in the region controlled by the occupiers.
Prior to this, an oil depot in Sochi—which had previously been attacked by drones—caught fire again.

On the night of September 3, the Moscow region of Russia came under a massive drone attack. According to the region’s governor, Andrei Vorobyov, Russian air defense forces allegedly shot down 56 drones over the region.
