Video: Zelenskyy Visits Soldiers of the 66th Brigade in the Lyman Area
On September 30, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapaty, visited the command post of the 66th Separate Mechanized Brigade. The unit is carrying out combat missions in the Lyman sector.
The head of state met with soldiers participating in combat missions in this sector and presented them with state awards.
Zelenskyy also spoke with the commander of the 66th Brigade. During the conversation, they discussed the tasks the unit is carrying out, as well as the troops’ needs.
The President specifically spoke about the results of Operation “Vivaldi,” which is ongoing in the Lyman sector. According to him, the 66th Mechanized Brigade, together with other units within the Third Army Corps, has already restored Ukrainian control over more than 125 square kilometers of territory.

According to the 66th Brigade, Operation “Vivaldi” in the Lyman sector is ongoing, and troops continue to hold the ground they have gained and consolidate their positions in the liberated territories.
Zelenskyy thanked the servicemen for their service and for defending Ukraine. “Thank you for defending our state, our sovereignty, and our territorial integrity. This is very important,” the president emphasized.
On the morning of September 30, Russian forces continued to attack the Kyiv region with strike drones. Three people were injured in Brovary as a result of the latest attack.
A drone strike in the Kyiv region caused a fire in residential buildings; two people were rescued.
As a reminder, debris from a Russian drone caused a fire in a five-story building in Kyiv.
Following the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack on Kyiv, an educational institution was hit.
