Three injured in Kherson region due to Russian shelling in one day
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 79 attacks across Kherson Oblast, firing 398 shells.
This was reported on Telegram by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
As a result of the enemy attacks, three civilians sustained injuries of varying severity.
The occupiers fired using heavy artillery, Grad multiple launch rocket systems, tanks, drones, and aircraft. Settlements across the region, including the regional capital Kherson, were hit.
The enemy deliberately targeted residential areas and civilian infrastructure, aiming to sow panic among the population.
Russian forces also attacked critically important sites, including the region’s energy and transport infrastructure. Industrial enterprises supporting local communities were also affected.
The occupiers continue to systematically destroy essential facilities to make life difficult for people in the de-occupied territories.
Russian forces previously attacked a cemetery in Cherkasy on Christmas Eve and again struck the DTEK thermal power plant.
