As a result of the strike on Zaporizhzhia, fires and destruction broke out
On the night of 26 January, Russian forces carried out another strike on Zaporizhzhia, which led to a fire at the site of the attack.
The information was confirmed by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
He noted that the shelling, which regularly occurs in the region, causes serious concern among local residents due to the potential destruction of residential buildings.
“The enemy struck Zaporizhzhia. A fire broke out at the site of the attack. Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured,” the statement said.

Over the past few days alone, the occupiers have repeatedly shelled the Zaporizhzhia region, in particular the town of Vilniansk and the settlement of Kamyshevakha, as a result of which houses were damaged and emergency services were required. This indicates a further escalation of military aggression and an ongoing threat to the civilian population.
