On the night of Monday, April 20, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 142 drones

Ukrainian air defense forces managed to neutralize almost all enemy UAVs. However, 28 strikes could not be prevented.

This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Air Force.

It is noted that starting from 18:00 on April 19, the enemy launched 142 strike UAVs, including Shahed drones (including jet-powered variants), as well as Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of drones. They were launched from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as from temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea. About 100 of them were Shahed drones.

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data as of 08:00, air defense systems shot down or suppressed 113 enemy UAVs of various types across the north, south, and east of the country.

There were 28 confirmed drone strikes at 18 locations, as well as debris from downed drones falling at 6 locations.

As of 08:00, the air attack was still ongoing.

It is also noted that on April 19, Russian forces carried out more than 20 shelling attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region using artillery and strike drones.

On April 19, Russian occupying forces also carried out another attack on civilian infrastructure in Kherson using an unmanned aerial vehicle.
