The enemy is preparing a spring offensive in the Pokrovsk direction, – data from the 7th Air Assault Corps
In the area of responsibility of the Ukrainian Air Assault Forces, signs have been recorded that Russian occupiers are preparing to intensify combat operations in Donbas. The enemy plans to strengthen their offensive at the beginning of spring.
This was reported by the press center of the 7th Air Assault Corps.
Ukrainian forces note that in recent months the enemy has been accumulating resources for further attacks. “Currently, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on advancing toward Hryshyne, northwest of Pokrovsk. Fighting continues in the eastern part of the settlement. The enemy is trying to pressure the defenders and advance into the central part of Hryshyne, simultaneously assaulting it from the north and south,” the 7th Corps press center stated.
In addition, the occupiers continue attempts to fully capture Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, but Ukrainian troops are holding designated positions on the northern outskirts of both cities.
According to the 7th Air Assault Corps, in February Ukrainian defenders eliminated and wounded over 1,000 Russian soldiers, destroyed 38 artillery pieces and mortars, 4 armored vehicles, 84 units of automotive and motorized equipment, and 5 multiple launch rocket systems.
Furthermore, Russian occupation forces made advances in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The Kremlin plans to continue the war in Ukraine at least until the elections to the State Duma in September 2026.
The Russian Federation is changing the main targets of its mass attacks on Ukraine, now focusing on the destruction of water infrastructure in major cities.
On the morning of March 4, Russian occupiers carried out an attack on Mykolaiv with strike drones. Preliminary data indicate that one of the drones hit near a passenger train carriage.
