Enemy trying to break through Ukrainian defenses in Donbas – General Staff
Fighting is ongoing today across almost all directions on the front, from Slobozhanshchyna to Donbas. The enemy has intensified artillery fire and attacks, but Ukrainian defenders have repelled most assaults and maintain control over their positions. The hottest spots are the Prydniprovskiy, Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipilsk directions, according to the press center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Slobozhanshchyna Front
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy attempted one attack on Ukrainian positions – the battle continues. Additionally, the enemy conducted 89 shellings, including two with multiple launch rocket systems. In the South Slobozhansky direction, three enemy attacks near Prylipky and toward Hryhorivka were repelled by Ukrainian defenders, though one engagement is ongoing.
In Kupiansk, the enemy attempted advances toward Petropavlivka, Pishchane, and Kruhliakivka – two attacks were repelled, two battles continue.
Donbas and Kramatorsk Direction
In Lyman, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks near Novoselivka and Kolodiazi. On the Sloviansk front, fighting continues in the Dronivka area.
The Kramatorsk direction currently has no active clashes. In Kostiantynivka, the enemy carried out nine attacks, with one engagement ongoing near Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka, Kleban-Bik, and Sofiivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
During the day, the enemy attempted to advance 27 times toward Ukrainian positions near Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, and other settlements. Two battles are still ongoing.
Huliaipilsk and Orikhiv Directions
Ukrainian defenders repelled six attacks near Huliaipol, while four battles continue. Enemy aviation struck Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Charivne, and Varvarivka.
In Orikhiv, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks near Mala Tokmachka and Stepove, while Novoyakovlivka suffered an airstrike.
Prydniprovskiy Front and Other Directions
Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks near the Antonivskyi Bridge. No significant changes have been recorded on other sections of the front.
