Enemy fired a missile at Uman, several injured, including children
On December 26, Russian forces carried out a missile strike on the city of Uman in Cherkasy region.
According to the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, six people were injured during the attack around noon, including two children.
“Closer to noon, the enemy carried out a missile strike on the city. Currently, we have six injured people, including two children. All are receiving necessary medical assistance,” Taburets said.
Emergency services worked at the scene, providing medical aid to the victims. Damage to residential infrastructure was also reported.
Additionally, on the night of December 26, Russia used an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 99 attack drones to strike various regions of Ukraine, including energy facilities.
As a result, energy systems in southern regions were affected, with significant infrastructure damage reported.
Russia shelled the ports of Odesa region throughout the night, damaging grain elevators and foreign ships.
The day before, a Russian attack once again cut off power in Mykolaiv; resilience points were opened in the city.
Russia also struck Mykolaiv with Shahed drones, leaving three people injured — in serious condition.
