Russian army losses exceed 1.22 million personnel — General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Over the course of 19 January 2026, Ukraine’s Defence Forces eliminated more than a thousand Russian occupiers, bringing the enemy’s total losses to approximately 1,227,440 personnel.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures indicating the rapid degradation of the enemy army on the front line.
An increase of 1,020 casualties in a single day demonstrates the high effectiveness of Ukrainian defenders in countering the aggressor.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have also achieved significant success in destroying armoured equipment: 11,573 tanks and 23,922 armoured fighting vehicles have been destroyed. Enemy artillery losses amount to 36,333 systems, including 1,617 multiple launch rocket systems and 1,278 air defence assets.
The daily increase of 39 artillery systems destroyed is paralysing Russian offensive plans in key sectors.
Russia’s aviation and naval assets continue to diminish: 434 aircraft, 347 helicopters, 28 ships and boats, and 2 submarines have been destroyed. Enemy drone losses have reached 110,215 units, including 765 over the past day, significantly weakening Russian reconnaissance and strike capabilities.
In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 4,163 cruise missiles, making the skies over Ukraine safer.
In the enemy rear, logistics continue to suffer: vehicle losses have reached 74,876 units (+170 over the past day), while specialised equipment losses stand at 4,045 (+1).
Earlier, Syrskyi announced the transition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to offensive operations.
Additionally, in the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 25 assault attacks.
