Ukraine has carried out another successful operation to evacuate minors from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.

A group of children and teenagers has been brought home, with the youngest only three months old and the oldest 17 years of age.

This was officially reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, every child in this group endured extremely difficult experiences while living under Russian control.

“Another group of children and teenagers has been returned to territory controlled by Ukraine from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. These are boys and girls aged from three months to 17 years,” the regional governor emphasized in his address.

Among those rescued are a 17-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy whose childhood was shattered by constant repression by the occupiers. Their family was repeatedly subjected to illegal raids by Russian soldiers on their private home.

It was also recalled that Ukraine recently brought back Myroslav Chornomor, who had been sentenced to life imprisonment in Russia.

In addition, Ukraine has returned 157 servicemen as part of a new prisoner exchange with the Russian Federation.
